BIG IP VE Deployment

Hi,

 

We are in the process of deploying BIG IP LTM, GTM and BIG IQ manager.

 

The GTMs will not be in HA but will be part of the same Config Sync group.

 

The LTMs will be in HA and have a separate Config Sync group.

 

The Big IQ also will be in HA.

 

The question is that what is the minimum virtual NICs that we have to assign to each of the devices to support the above design?

 

Like what are the necessary interfaces required for the deployment

 

Kindly assist.

    It depends on the design. but you can start with

     

    1. one vNIC for HA only. 2.one vNIC for Management
    2. minimum one vNIC for service traffic if you are doing VLAN tagging, else additional vNIC's per segregation

    what about the BIG IQ, since service traffic won't be there, 2 vNICs are enough right?
