BIG-IP LTM - reverse proxy
Hi, I have a list of requirements from a customer for a reverse proxy. They are already running LTM for load balancing purposes and would like to use it for their reverse proxy as well provided it can meet their requirements:-
Support for both HTTP and HTTPS Support for wildcard certificate Namespace restriction (e.g only allow browsing to http://websitename.organisation.country/subdirectory/*) Ability to publish website using different namespace to backend web service Authentication and access control based on Active Directory users/groups Authentication and access control based on LDAP users/groups Single sign-on using basic authentication to backend web service Single sign-on using form-fill to backend web service Logon page or portal customizable with customer logo and branding
Can anyone tell me if the LTM can meet all these requirements
Thanks

For the http/https offload LTM with possibly iRules for the namespace restrictions is ok, but for authentication, access control and SSO you need APM functionality.
