NimbostratusBIG-IP Forgotten password
Hello,
i am running F5 BIG-IP on vmware. i forgot the password for the root username. by that i am not able to access F5 GUI through it's management IP address. how to change the root password from the CLI note that i am not able to login.

I followed it and it worked as expected and Recovered the root password Back.

thank you mohamad, i did this step and password changed succesfully but when reboot and try to login with my new password it's not working

maybe there are some missing points , as I followed it and tested it on my lab and it worked great.
> also make sure with your bootlocation such as "HD1.1 or HD1.2 .... " to mountmount /dev/mapper/vg--db--sda-set.2._config /sysroot/config mount /dev/mapper/vg--db--sda-set.2._var /sysroot/varthere are platforms uses vda instead of sda so you need to change it in each mount script.
