BiG IP DNS Monitor

We are using GTM and LTM. While configuring GTM when we add LTM virtual servers in pool member is it necessary to add health monitor. If yes which monitor we can use. Is GTM monitoring LTM virtual servers by default and specific health monitor not required on pool.

    While adding LTM as a server object you need to assign bigip monitor only. Gtmd uses this monitor to get status updates from LTM for every configured gtm virtual server under LTm server object.
