BIG-IP as transparent DNS caching server

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to configure the big-ip to cache content with different TTL's depending on domain name?

Quite generic question :-)

 

I am pretty sure it's possible but you would need to do some iRule coding for that. Try to search DevCentral for DNS iRules and I am sure you will find some good examples how to selectively change TTL.

 

For sure BIG-IP can work as DNS cache - and in few modes. What I am not sure if you need DNS/GTM license for that.
