Big IP 2200 models: 2200? 2200s?
We have a 2200 chassis and I'm unsure if it's actual model is a "2200s." In the GUI for the device it just says "BIG IP 2200." Is there even such a model as a "2200" or is the base 2200 really a "2200s." We purchased it a few years ago. I'm asking in regards to EOS/EOL notices.
Thanks!
Hi
Have you tried running tmsh show sys hardware
You can also use this tool https://secure.f5.com/validate/validate.jsp to find out info about your device if you have the device serial number to hand.

I tried tmsh show sys hardware, but got the same model as when I checked via the GUI (BIG IP 2200).
However, using the https://secure.f5.com/validate/validate.jsp tool I got a more specific response:
F5-BIG-LTM-2200S BIG-IP SWITCH: LOCAL TRAFFIC MANAGER 2200S
That's what I needed - Thanks! 😁
