BIG-IP : monitor examines http status code
BIG-IP 11.4.1 Build 608.0 Final
Is it possible to configure a monitor to hit an endpoint and determine health based on the response's http status code ?
e.g. in 200 range = greeen ; outside 200 range = red.

Yes, you can do this with an HTTP monitor. Some specifics are here:

You'll want to tailor your receive string to match what the server will respond with if it's healthy. For example, HTTP/1.1 200 OK could be your receive string
