Best solution for the Big IP F5 test system

Hi, I would like to ask what you would recomend as a test system for the Big IP F5 system. What I would like to be able to do 1. Simulate 3600 series, if possible. 2. It should be able to simulate failover 3. only LTM is needed, as we do not use any other features at the moment.

    Martin,

     

    You can get a BIG-IP Virtual Edition Lab License now for around $100, this includes all modules but is capped at 10Mbps throughput and if you buy two licenses and install two BIG-IPs in your hypervisor of choice you can set them up in a HA Pair. Failover would be network only, not hardware.

    Hi!

     

    F5 and resellers has on multiple occasions lent me hardware for evaluation. This could also be an option.

     

    This is older types of hardware so someone might have it in stock.
