If you want to restore the full config, you need to set the host name to the same as what the UCS was set on. See SOL3499 on AskF5 for much more info.

 

 

You can check the hostname of the UCS in the SPEC-Manifest file (where backup.ucs is your UCS filename):

 

 

tar xfz backup.ucs SPEC-Manifest; grep ^LOCALHOST SPEC-Manifest
