Backing up LTM VE

Can I use EMC Avamar to backup the virtual appliance LTM VE version 13.1.1?   It would be using the Linux VMware Image dataset which essentially takes a snapshot within vSphere for the backup.   ...

Not seen any usecase for third party snapshot backup but config backup can be possible. You can try n update us...
