Automation in F5 Ltm Physical and Virtual devices

Hi All,

 

I want to automate things that we do using GUI like creating Standard VS [80/443] and Performance Layer 4 VS's. As I don't have much working experience on F5 LTM don't know what daily operations kinds of things can be automated. Please provide some suggestions.

    Hi Ashish,

     

    My recommendation would be to look into automating things via iControl REST commands. We have an article that covers a few examples that you can see below.

    Beyond that I am not aware of any way to automate the creation of traffic objects via the options built into the LTM itself. I hope this helps!
