Assign route-domain based on AD group
I'm looking to set the route-domain when logging on to the APM but I want to do this dynamically via AD group (when the user is in a specific group, it's sets a specific route-domain) as far as I can see this doesn't seem to be possible. Anybody done this before or know if this is this possible?
If it was possible, I was hoping to do it in the macro section of the visual policy editor.
Any info appreciated.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's not possible to dynamically provision route domains. Can you elaborate on what you're trying to accomplish?

have you tried to create a variable assignment and then select "Predefined Session variable=Route Domain" and write a custom expression (AAAA Attribute) corresponding to your conditions?

Hi Kevin
Thanks for the response. I wanted to emulate similar behaviour that existed that I had setup on Firepass. I had it setup to assign the route-domain based on the landing URI so I think I will go with that method. I just found this article which helps a lot: https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_apm/manuals/product/apm_config_10_1_0/apm_config_advanced_policies.html81423
Thank you
