ASM-VE APM Addon?

I have an existing ASM-VE deployment and we are looking to add APM for a 2FA setup.

It's not %100 clear if I would be able to add something like F5-BIG-APM-VE-1G-M (since F5-ADD-BIGAPM-VE-MAX is discontinued per https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K15667) to my existing ASM-VE setup, if I would have to deploy an entirely separate virtual machine to host APM (and then figure out how to stitch the two systems together externally), or if I would have to upgrade to the 'Best Bundle' so I could keep ASM.

If anyone has any experience doing any sort of ASM-VE + APM setup information qould be greatly appreciated!
