apm and asm
3 Topicsasm & apm in conjunction producing errors in apm log
apm log produces the following errors when vs is configured with asm policy and access policy. I suspect there are limitations on the types of access policies that can be used with asm. Does anybody know what these are? Access encountered error: ERR_NOT_SUPPORTED. Hello everyone, I come for my first question on DevCentral to request your help. Situation: I have an Access Policy that authenticates users. At the end of the log-on process, they are presented a webtop that gives them access to the resource. I would like to skip the webtop step to redirect the users to a proxy ASM Virtual Server (maybe on another BIG-IP) to perform WAF policies before them to access the application. Currently, I tried to use a webtop link and an Access Portal, but I keep getting this error, imposing me the use a proper webtop: "Configuration error. Webtop configuration is required. Webtop configuration is not necessary for App Tunnel Control, or a Portal Access connection with minimal patching configured." And I am not sure this will help for this purpose. Can anyone help me to achieve this and explain me what I did wrong with my configuration, I am quite new to F5 and I surely have something wrong somewhere. Thanks in advance473Views0likes1CommentASM-VE APM Addon?
I have an existing ASM-VE deployment and we are looking to add APM for a 2FA setup. It's not %100 clear if I would be able to add something like F5-BIG-APM-VE-1G-M (since F5-ADD-BIGAPM-VE-MAX is discontinued per https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K15667) to my existing ASM-VE setup, if I would have to deploy an entirely separate virtual machine to host APM (and then figure out how to stitch the two systems together externally), or if I would have to upgrade to the 'Best Bundle' so I could keep ASM. If anyone has any experience doing any sort of ASM-VE + APM setup information qould be greatly appreciated!366Views0likes1Comment
