ASM policy building traffic learning will be gone after F5 shutdown?

Thanks. I am testing out 12.0.0 in my local machine. What if I do nothing on the traffic learning items and how does it impact the event logs? There are many items like "Illegal File Types", "Illegal Parameters", "Illegal URL" which I have no idea why it will show up. And none of those items are in the event log.
