ASM policies not synced
Hi everyone,
I have a query related to ASM configuration sync I am running Tmos 11.6 with latest HF. I have LTM configuration running perfectly fine on my units n Sync works completely fine but the ASM configuration is not syncing between the units properly. On active unit I have 8 policies but on secondary it shows only 5 also on active unit there policies r blocked but on secondary same is transparent, how I can't figure out. Has someone faced similar issue? What could be the possible solution of this?

Have you configured an ASM synchronisation group?

You could try removing the policies from the standby and then doing a new sync? Create a ucs first though. Anything in the ASM log when you sync?

did you have time to try what nathan suggested?
have you checked the asm log for indications of problems? i did experience similar issues in the past, but usually they went away after a restart.

Well I have checked the logs and it is showing no error.... so u mean shall I give a restart to the secondary device??
if you perform a sync now, do you see anything in the asm log?
if you make a change in the ASM policy and perform a sync do you see anything in the asm log?

Hi Boneyard,
There was no sync happening between the two units and it was very complicated, the VS were created using the iApp and the HTTP compression is not license was an error showing up later which was causing the boxes not to sync the configuration completely.....
