ASM DoS detection

Does it mean that DoS would be detected if requests per source IP reached to 200 per second? What's the significance of 40 tps here?

    There are two conditions for :

     

    1-) TPS must be at least 40 and increase at least %500

     

    2-) after TPS exceeds 200
