ASM: Block AJAX call in Transparent and Block mode, no logs exist
Hello.
I am facing difficultly implementing application security policy on a particular website.
The application is making a AJAX call to get some data. Sometimes it works, sometimes it hangs when the ASM is either in transparent or blocking mode. Disabling the ASM policy completely results in the AJAX call never hanging.
I know, I didn't believe it at first. However, we went through three rounds of blocking --> try the AJAX call, transparent --> try the ajax call, no blocking --> try the ajax call and the behavior was completely repeatale.
There are no logs of the apparent blocking behavior in the application security policy learning logs, the event logs, or the logs under the Logs -> security tab. I am on a 11.2 release version.
Any ideas?

We have made some progress. When are on version 11.4.1 hf 4 now. When we turn off compression in the ltm the asm now works. I can't find a SOL or anything for this. Any ideas of a workaround? I need both. - Chris_Grant

Try setting Response Chunking to Rechunk in the HTTP profile. If that does not work, please open a ticket with support.
