Jan 17, 2008Are there limits to Data Group name length?
A simple question (or two) on data groups:
Are there any practical limits on the length of a key or value in a data group? I'm writing a rule using a string class against various long-ish URIs and the question came up. If I am using a long key name, are there any performance implications for lookups?
TIA,

I'm running into this question also - I will be checking URIs against AD group membership, and the list of groups authorized for a particular URI could be longish - maybe up to 2K characters? Will that work? - nitass
