Appliance to vcmp guest migration with partition and route domain
Hi All,
I am trying to migrate from F5 appliance with multiple Partitions, route domains to a new vcmp guest but I am getting errors while I do it.
Steps I have followed till now:-
- backed up the ucs from the original box and master key.
- created the vcmp guest on the new host with the same image and HF.
- extracted the original config and modified the bigip_base.conf and removed interfaces, vlans, trunks and other physical layer configs.
- created the vlans on host without tagging them to trunk and assigned them to guest.
- tried modifying the bigip_base.config under partitions directory for all partitions for the original config.
- repacked the files into .ucs and trying to load the config with no-license no-platform-check.
I am getting error that route domain doesn't exist.
Also if I see the vlans that are assigned from the host are in common Partition but that is not the case with the existing config.
Do I need to delete and recreate them in desired Partitions manually as getting error on them as well that they are already in use or assigned to another partition.
