APM with SSO (Basic Auth) and multiple pools

Hi,

I have an APM config including SSO using basic auth which works well, but now I would like to include an iRule on the associated virtual to do a pool select based on URI,

The trouble is, I have observed that once the iRule fires a pool select, it appears to break my SSO (my hope was the SSO config would support SSO to both pools) not only am I no longer auth'ed to the resources in the newly selected pool - but also the original pool - basically basic auth SSO is no longer available.

I am wondering if anyone else has come across this use-case and perhaps seen a solution - I will spend some more time researching this and update this thread with any results or solutions I find - but if you already know the answer I would appreciate hearing about it :)
