APM resource sandbox appears in bipip.conf after upgrade of 11.2.1 to 11.5.3HF2.
Hi,
We have upgraded several of our F5s from 11.2.1 to 11.5.3HF2 and I have noticed that it has added the following section to existing partitions. These entries are not created if a new partition is created after the F5 has been upgraded.
apm client-packaging /xxxxxxxxxx/client-packaging { }
apm resource sandbox /xxxxxxxxxx/citrix-client-package {
base-uri /xxxxxxxxxx/public/citrix
description "Sandbox for Citrix client package files"
}
apm resource sandbox /xxxxxxxxxx/hosted-content {
base-uri /xxxxxxxxxx/public/share
description "Sandbox for static contents"
}
apm resource sandbox /xxxxxxxxxx/user-windows-group-policy {
base-uri /xxxxxxxxxx/public/gpo-custom
description "Sandbox for user supplied windows group policy files"
}
This is causing issues as we have automation around partitions that fully removes them and can also stand them back up using iControl.
From what I can see we are not licensed for the APM module, there is no APM tabs inside the GUI. Also I cannot see any methods in iControl for dealing with APM.
Does anyone know why these entries are being created and how we can stop it from happening?
Cheers Dave

These are related to APM hosted files. Can you open a support case so the issue can be tracked and characterized more fully?
