APM limitation and issues

Hi guys,

 

I am doing migration of our firepass into apm and came across few limitation from apm and issues which can't

 

be achieved in apm in the same way it's in firepass.

 

Hope you guys can share ur experience .

 

Issues are below:

 

1. Some web application doesn't work using portal access using apm which works perfect in firepass.

 

groupwise web mail is one of them.internal https web apps not working through apm reverse proxy using portal access.

 

2. Sso pass through can be applied to 1 web application only per apm policy.

 

3.acl can't be applied for portal access application only.it has to be for the whole webtop which is different than what we are using in firepass

 

4.ip group filter not available in network access.acl is available for can't be added for only network access.

 

5.unable to give an individual user in ad or ldap to a particular resources.

 

Map a user in ldap not group to a resource

 

.ldap group mapping is fine but what about user dn mapping.

 

6.resource link in apm webtop opens in new window.can we customise to open the link in the same webtop page.

 

 

 

is there any workaround to these issues.

 

What I have felt is that apm is not do matured enough as a product and lacks even basic features of firepass.

 

I am not happy f5.firepAss was a excellent product ,match that in apm.
