APM: How to add more specific resources after initial assignment
We have an APM policy which assigns a webtop and generic resources to the user. This is done in 1 macrocall within the policy.
-
Is there a way to assign more portal resources in another macrocall without re-assigning the original resources and webtop. What we want to achieve is generic assignment first followed by assignment of resources which are specific to the user or a group to which the user belongs to.
-
On the webtop, is there a way to categorize the group-specific resources separately from the generic resources ? similar to how "Applications" and "Network Access" are segregated on the screen ?
We are using 11.5.1+HF7
Thank you.

im not a 100% sure on 1., but can't you just do another resource assign? or do generic and group ones in the same element. i don't believe things get overwritten.
on 2. i don't believe so, there is little too affect there.

Hi Amit,

Yes you can "stack" assigns along the VPE path. You can do one assign with all the general assignments, then AD Query, then have assigns based on group membership.

This is not possible today but there is an RFE ID for this (ID 429146). I would suggest you open a case and ask it to be linked to the RFE to get more visibility to it. You can also contact your account manager to get attention for the RFE.

Seth
