I have came across a setup in which Client profile is configured as apm-forwarding-client-tcp.
So needed to understand, how does it work.
Also, is this independent of APM module in F5 ?

CirrocumulusOK. That's a default TCP profile for BigIP.
Yes, it's independent, in that you can configure that particular profile on any VS (Or connection) you like. It's based on tcp-legacy and tweaks a few parameters...
Aside from that and the mention of it in the APM 12.0.0 release notes, I couldn't tell you a lot except to list what the changes were (e.g. A bigger send buffer, enables Nagles etc)...
I'm not sure I've seen an official description of it... Maybe there's description hiding somewhere around in the docs.
