APM Client Based checks queries

Hi,

 

If i want to do some checks on user or client connecting to APM. Do i have to have certain authorization on user machine ? how APM do that ? with browser plugins ?

 

If i have BigIP edge client installed on user machine, will this edge client do the checks or it will still need the plugins on browser ?

    Hi,

     

    Client integrity check is done through the APM plugin (Active X, Firefox, Safari ...). Be careful, some browsers do not support anymore F5 plugin. I did a test on last week with latest firefox on Windows, and it seems our plugin is still allowed.

    Depending the browser and the OS, some authorisations are needed. On Internet Explorer, that we advice to use, user needs Active X start privileges.
