May 08, 2013APM and XenApp
I am trying to integrate APM with XenApp. i followed the template and seems to work just fine. I want to customize the intranet to have the XenApp published in a table on the intranet web page. Is that possible? How would I do that?

- Just to clarify - you have setup APM to present XenApp resources on its webtop and you would like to integrate it into your Intranet page? If so, how does it look? You can certainly try to include the link to the APM virtual in the iframe section, but you would still need to login to that.

MK, that is correct, I do have APM presenting Xen on a webtop. I am trying to avoid a link but rather present the webtop in a table or frame on the intranet which I am also presenting in APM - Yes, you should definitely be able to present our webtop in a frame - but I am confused about the second part of your sentence( present webtop in an intranet which I am also presenting in APM)? I'm not quite able to visualize that setup/scenario. Can you post a picture or a mock-up of what you're trying to achieve?

usres auth to the intranet on that intranet page there is a table on the top that shows all the applications they can launch from citrix. - How do you plan on signing into the APM then? HOw do you sign into Intranet today? What authentication method do you use?

well today we use juniper SA with RSA adaptive auth. so the intranet will be behind the APM where they auth to AD. I plan on doing SSO for the XenApp and present that in a table or frame on the intranet. I dont want to present the webtop. - Well, you can have BiG-IP then create a frame for you and present Intranet page in one frame and webtop with Citrix resources in a different frame. That would be easier than trying to render webtop with Citrix resources within your Intranet Page - although it could be possible as well - I just know that the former way is definitely possible

thanks for you help. i am now not able to get to the farm. the nodes xml broker are showing down because of a health monitor. did i phat finger something? - It's very possible that you fat-fingered something. Easiest way to move forward is to remove the monitor first and see if it starts working. If it does, then you need to troubleshoot the monitor and do a tcpdump to see what is happening on the wire.
