NimbostratusAny iControlRest API to make the traffic group to Standby
Dear Experts,
I am looking for API which make the traffic group to force stand by. we have the option in Device Management -> Traffic Groups, selecting traffic group and click 'Force Standby' button will make the traffic group to standby. Can any one share me the the equivalent iControl restAPI for the same.

Hi,
it is pretty straight with curl:
curl -sk https://192.168.1.254/mgmt/tm/sys/failover -u admin:admin -X POST --data '{ "command": "run", "utilCmdArgs": "standby" }' -H 'Content-Type: type=application/json'In this example you use the run command via iControl REST.

Prakash_KrishnaHi, Thanks for your response. I just wanted to make my one of traffic group to stand by to take up the second device. Its a straight forward case of "Force stand by action" in F5 GUI under List of Traffic Group report. How can i pass the traffic group details to make it to a force stand by on current active device in the iControl RestAPI. Regards, Prakash.K
