Does anyone know how to install the activex components on an end users PC if the user does not have admin rights. I tried to use java to install, but this fails with a permissions error as well.

NimbostratusThere is a client component for Windows clients on the Client Downloads > Windows (x86) > Customize Package screen called Component Installer Windows Service. This enables clients to install the ActiveX component without having Admin rights.
You could create a MSI package that contains this component and all the other components that your clients need and distribute them using a package deployment method (e.g. Active Directory or SMS).
