Adding B2100 blade to vCMP Cluster
Hello,
We currently have a single Viprion 2400 in a production environment. The chassis has 1 x B2100 blade, and we are looking to add another blade to the cluster. I am aware of the SOL13965, however this does not cover a vCMP deployment.
We currently have four (4) guests operating - 2 CPUs each guest. Once we add this blade, I'd like to be able to add an additional 2 CPUs for each guest. Can this be done without interrupting the existing environment or do I need to re-deploy each guest with the new configuration? I imagine it's the latter.
Thanks in advance

After you add the blade and it comes online (replicates software and/or vdisks) you will need to move your guests to a disabled state in the HOST first before you can modify thier resource allocation. As long as all your production traffic is running through the guests on your other chassis, you should not have impact on your environment.
