Hi:
i have ASM v 10 and i need to add a remote pool member ( 172.16.1.10) to it , for direct local server it can easy add it by using VLANs and self-IP address but what about to configure a web server that is not direct connect to the ASM

Hello, as long as the BIG-IP (ASM) has a route to the remote pool member (Network > Routes) you should be fine. You will likely need to utilize SNAT to ensure the server's responses are directed back through the BIG-IP.
