Active Sync random password requests

Viprions 2400, APM, 4 guests each - HA 11.4.1 HF4 (just upgraded from 11.3) I have deployed Exchange 2010 using the iApp f5.microsoft_exchange_2010_2013_cas.v1.2.0. In our development environment and a small group of users (20 or so) and active sync never prompted for a password. (Something we were desperately trying to fix in our 2007 deployment) I did add the * after "/microsoft-server-activesync*" { Supports for ActiveSync

                    set f_activesync 1
                                            }

Now I have moved that small group of users over to the production environment (just changed DNS entry) and once again we (iPhones only at this time) get random prompts. I can compare the irules in notepad++ and they are exactly the same.

Could this have anything to do with load? Our Dev environment is obviously is not even close to our Production. Any ideas would be appreciated. This could be the dagger for F5 at this organization.

Thanks in advance JKrum

    Historic F5 Account

    Hi, first of all I recommend using the f5.microsoft_exchange_2010_2013_cas.v1.3.0 template that's available on downloads.f5.com (v1.4.0 is in test right now and we hope to release it soon). That has several new features and bug fixes.

    Assuming this only happens when you are using APM, if you go to System>Logging and set access policy and sso logging to debug and run a "tail -f /var/log/apm" while the problem is occurring, you should be able to find the cause of the prompts. Feel free to post the sanitized logs here and I'll have a look.
