Accessing VE VS definitions

Noob question, im sure, but I am confused.

 

 

I have VM Workstation 7 installed.

 

 

I have LTM VE trial installed.

 

 

I followed the basic install video.

 

 

I have mgt interface in the bridged network and its static IP. 172.3.0.0 network

 

 

I have the gui built and licensed.

 

 

I created an Internal network, for virtual servers I will be cloning into VM. 172.4.0.0 network

 

 

I created an External network, for the LTM VS definitions to access the cloned servers. 172.5.0.0 network

 

 

From my laptop, I cannot ping or browser to the LTM VS IPs in the 172.5.0.0 network.

 

 

What did I do wrong?

    when creating the networks, did you define a virtual nic?

    The networks in my post reference the ones in the Trial LTM VE software. Was I supposed to create some in the VMWARE 7?

    Nevermind, figured it out. For some reason the changes I made to the VMWARE network config did not take effect and I had to reboot the laptop to rebuild VMWARE. Then the IPs and virtual host adapters I configured started working.
