3-DNS sync management

Our goal is to reduce exposure during the software upgrade cycle for ten 3-DNS’s. We are not happy with the requirement to split up the sync group during the upgrade process. So, we are considering taking the sync group down permanently and managing the Wide IP on 3-DNS using iControl Services Manager. Will this do what we want? That is, will the iControl Services Manager synchronize the configurations for us without needing to use sync groups?

    Unfortunately we aren't staffed here to support iControl Services Manager (the product) related questions. iControl on DevCentral is for support of our SOAP based management API. If you want to write your own app to do this with iControl, then this would be the place to go with questions when you are building your apps.
