12.1 Upgrade Issue
Has anyone had any problems upgrading from 12.0 to 12.1? We are finding that web services are becoming unavailable post upgrade as they are getting into "redirect" loops. To resolve it we are having to remove iRule and policies from the virtual server and then re-apply them. Wondering if anyone else has observed this behaviour and if there is an easier way to resolve rather than having to A) temporary lose services and B) having to go through and manually amend a large number of virtual servers

I haven't seen that issue. Does a reboot help at all? You may also want to try a mcpd forceload, using the instructions here: https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/000/sol13030.html I've found that this can resolve some of the wierd issues that may crop up during a software upgrade.
I'd also recommend opening a ticket with support, if none of those things work.
John, Make sure you reactivate your device's license prior to any upgrade procedure. Specifically, you will need to ensure that your Service Check Date (located in the /config/bigip.license file) is up to date for the version you wish to install.
Looks like the SOL hasn't been updated for 12.1, but it is located here: https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/7000/700/sol7727.html

I'm having issues currently.
Upgrading a virtual F5 on VMWare currently at 12 HF 2 Uploaded 12.1 Relicensed
Shortly after asking it to install 12.1 to a spare partition TMM core dumped.
Not disk space, nothing obviously wrong.
Log files aren't being much help.
I should stick in a ticket, but this feels like the upgrade process in 12.0 HF 2 is flawed, and of itself should be nothing to do with 12.1 since all its done so far is load the ISO and mount it for installing, and the log messages suggest that maybe the mount is after the crash.
