Hi all, is anybody facing the same issue with BIG-IP VE version 16.0.1.1 in VMware Workstation? Can be observed with VMware Workstation Pro 16 (16.1.2) and Pro 15 (15.5.7). I could not find a known bug in the release notes of 16.0.1.1. Any hint how to get rid of this? Thanks in advance & KR DanielSolved1.3KViews0likes2CommentsHack It Yourself OVF Not Working In VMware Workstation 12.0 Pro
Hello, I downloaded the PHPAuction2.1 file from Google Docs and tried to install using VMware Workstation Pro 12.0. When went to import the file I got the following error: The import failed because (path to file/file name) did not pass OVF specification conformance or virtual hardware compliance checks. Click to try to relax OVF specification and virtual hardware compliance checks and try the import again, or click cancel to stop the import. If you retry the import, you might not be able to use the virtual machine in VMware Workstation. I have already loaded the F5 VM with no issues along with CBT Nuggets, Red, Blue, Green servers and have them going with no issues. Has anyone seen this error and if so can you please help? Hi! I am trying to set up a lab to prepare for my 201 exam. This is my setup: OS: Ubuntu 14.10, 64 bit Processor: Intel Core I5-4570 CPU@3.20Ghz x4 Hypervisor: VMWare Workstation 12.1.0 BIG-IP VE: 11.3.0.39.0-scsi If I'am trying to start big-ip ve in VM workstation as a "guest operating system" == Other 64-bit (default setting), VMware workstation shows an error with message: "This virtual machine is configured for 64-bit guest operating systems. However, 64-bit operation is not possible. This host supports Intel VT-x, but Intel VT-x is disabled.Intel VT-x might be disabled if it has been disabled in the BIOS/firmware settings or the host has not been power-cycled since changing this setting.(1) Verify that the BIOS/firmware settings enable Intel VT-x and disable 'trusted execution.'(2) Power-cycle the host if either of these BIOS/firmware settings have been changed.(3) Power-cycle the host if you have not done so since installing VMware Workstation.(4) Update the host's BIOS/firmware to the latest version. For more detailed information, see http://vmware.com/info?id=152." When I try with "guest operating system" option set as "Other", VM Wrokstationd loads GRUB and shows message: "This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU. Unable to boot - please use a Kernel appropriate for your CPU" Please advise how to handle this problem.511Views0likes2Comments
