I'm new to rseries but I need to SCP an OS from a remote server onto the appliance via CLI. Server I am admining from holding OS only allows SCP file transfers out and https is not an option. What is the file path? From a admin linux box to r5600 i tried: "#scp <local F5OS.iso filename> admin@<r5600IPaddress>:/system/images/staging" "#scp <local F5OS.iso filename> admin@<r5600IPaddress>:/images/staging" "#scp <local F5OS.iso filename> admin@<r5600IPaddress>:/system/images/import/iso" "#scp <local F5OS.iso filename> admin@<r5600IPaddress>:/images/import/iso" Each time I get the response "Invalid pathname" https://techdocs.f5.com/en-us/f5os-a-1-5-0/f5-rseries-systems-administration-configuration/title-system-settings.html discusses it some but does not give me all of the information I need (or water it down enough for me). Any help is always apprecriatedSolved841Views0likes5CommentsMigrate Configs from 5250 to i5800, MINUS HOST specific
We have almost 30 f5 5250v's that are being replaced by i5800's. we need to be able to copy the configuration from the old to the new. We need as much of the settings to include the interfaces and and account if possible. We set these systems up offline and test them then send to end site. Testing in our lab with local systems I have been trying with UCS and SCF files.Modifying the files to include the end system license and modifying the hostname and management IP for the all test. We have problems with invalid versions (14.1.5.1) for the scf transfer attempts. In the attempts for UCS transfer from cli the load commandget the wonderfully descriptive error load sys ucs <filename> Unexpected Error: UCS loading process failedSolved1.1KViews0likes3CommentsBlock Skype File Transfer with SWG
Dear all, under Access Policy -> Secure Web Gateway -> Applications, there were only skype, login, update for Instant Messaging category. Latest database downloaded for v12. Would like to ask if anyone has this requirement of blocking only file transfers on Skype but allow voice and chat functions. There are other ways to do this such as editing the end point's registry but would like to know blocking of transfer function can be done at SWG level. Thanks!251Views0likes0Comments
