I am new to F5, and I am trying to get a WIDE IP disabled from serviceNow using REST APIs. I am using the information provided in the below link but no luck so far. https://clouddocs.f5.com/products/big-iq/mgmt-api/v7.1.0/ApiReferences/bigiq_public_api_ref/r_dns_wideip_a_state.html I am using the endpoint as https://<ip address of device>/mgmt/tm/gmt/working-config/wideip/a/<id> "<id> I am replacing with dns farm name". There is no error, but wide-ip remains enabled.416Views0likes1Commenthow to do a sync-failover on servicenow? (f5 BIG-IP)
I have active/standby pair. I can make changes to active unit using servicenow actions (f5 BIG IP actions) . But now I want to make sync to standby unit. Is it possible to do this for servicenow? Do I need to use any REST commands? Or is there an easier way to do this?254Views0likes1CommentIntergrating Service Now
Hi All, we recently received a request from our Service Now team to allow Service Now Discovery and Service Mapping to BigIP. The request is for SSH access to tmsh. This poses a security risk as we restrict the access to command line to the network team only. My question is, has anyone worked with Service Now Discovery and Service Mapping, and what would be best practice to enable the adequate access without compromising security. Thank you in advance for any information and advice you guys can provide. Thanks Deena99Views0likes3Comments
