5 TopicsAPM: OWA Two factor authentication Issue
Hello, - I've exchange 2010, we needed to add APM mainly to add 2FA on OWA, but don't want to pass any other service (outlook, Active Sync, ...) to 2FA baranch, the OWA worked fine as expected, but for outlook it keeps sending authentication pop-up window, even when I enter the username and password it sends the popup window again. I can see from the capture that the 401 HTTP response is coming from F5! the issue disappears when I remove the access policy. Normal Pass before adding 2FA login page >> AD auth >> SSO mapping >> allow after adding 2FA landing URI (/Owa & /owa/) >>brnach1>> logon page >> ADP auth >> variable assign >> RSA logon >> RSA auth >> variable assign >> SSO mapping >> allow `` `>>branch2>> allow` any help to bypass all service from Access policy, noting i tried all solution including disabled access policy inside template default irule!!263Views0likes0CommentsBig-IP LTM+APM OWA with Symantec Enterprise Vault
Greeting everyone, I used an f5 iApp to configure Exchange (f5.microsoft_exchange_2010_2013_cas.v1.5.1) to publish OWA/active-sync. The pre-authentication is being made though F5 APM moudule and everything is working as expected. We use an SSL profile to both client and server side. Right now We have Enterprise Vault working in the following way: OWA---(SSL)---> TMG--(NonSSL)---> EnterpriseVault We created a pool for EnterpriseVault named pool_owa_enterpriseVault in F5 and added the following to the irule "exchange_owa_activeSync_apm_combined_pool_irule7": "/enterprisevault*" { pool /Common/pool_owa_enterpriseVault COMPRESS::disable CACHE::disable return } It was supposed to work with this flow: OWA---(SSL)---> Big-IP ------(NonSSL)---> EnterpriseVault but it is doing this: OWA---(SSL)---> F5 -----(SSL)---> EnterpriseVault I already tried adding SSL::disable serverside but Big-IP always tries to go though port 443 and establish handshake. Enterprise Vault does not use any kind of cipher. Enterprise Vault pool is configured to work on port 80 but still Big-IP tries port 443. Any help to solve this problem would be very kind. I have an existing exchange 2010 iapp in production. Is there a method to migrate the Iapp, pools, etc. configured in that particular iapp to a seperate F5? I would like to transfer over as much information as possible instead of creating it all over again from scratch. Hello there, The issue I am having is that I get signed out of OWA whenever I click on any hyperlink ( only when using ie browser, it opens into a new window with the OWA login page. It works fine using any other browser, and works fine going to the exchange server directly. Only happens when going through the F5 load balance URL using ie browser. I am using Outlook 2010 and F5 V. 11.4.1 HFX9. Your help is highly appreciated. Thank you.262Views0likes2CommentsOWA 2010 SSO with Redirection
Hello Everyone, We have a portal access configuration for OWA 2010 and have configured a Forms-Based SSO object to associate with it. SSO works well if the mailbox is in the same AD site as the OWA connection however, if the mailbox resides in our DR site, Exchange redirects the browser to a server in the DR site which changes the URL thus breaking SSO. I'm thinking there has to be a way to handle this redirect and still pass SSO successfully but we've yet to find a way around this. Has anyone else come across such an implementation hurdle? Any suggestions? This is my first post on Dev Central so please let me know of any info needed to review. :) Thank you in advance! Luis273Views0likes1Comment
