F5 LBaaS v2 is now certified with the Mirantis Version 9 Mitaka OpenStack (MOS) distribution. I want to thank my colleague, Ulises Alonso Camaro, for his efforts in performing the certification tests, creating the demo environment, and writing the Installation Runbook. The Installation Runbook is a valuable resource in which Ulises has detailed the LBaaSv2 features that are common to both the F5 components and MOS 9.0, as well as those which were tested and validated. The Runbook also details the steps taken to do the validation as well as showcases the use of several HEAT templates used to assist in the deployment and configuration of the F5 components. F5 belongs to the Mirantis Unlocked Partner Program, where we self-test our LBaaS Agents and Drivers with Mirantis OpenStack, and build demonstration environments that showcase the integrations. For details on our newest certification, and the installation runbook, please check here:https://www.mirantis.com/partners/f5-networks/ This effort is part of our overall OpenStack Certification program. We are working with our OpenStack partners to make certain that the OpenStack related solutions we produce meet our quality standards when used in conjunction with various OpenStack distributions.
