Feature Request: host-identified node groups
In the current setup – for LTM, each interface on back-end, resource servers (nodes) is registered on the F5 system. In the event that a system has multiple interfaces, they would each require to be registered to the Node List - if the requirement exists. When you need to disable the system for maintenance, you have to track down each node related to the system and make the change. This could be simplified by providing a grouping feature which provides simple access to disabling, forcing a device offline, or enabling them. Rather than update several nodes for the system, just perform the action at the group – and the LTM could propagate the update to associated nodes.
