iControl or script to get dynamic route from F5
Hi I currently use F5 with dynamic routing (Learn BGP dynamic route from neighbor router). Problem is sometimes router can't send me route and all dynamic route is gone. (we got downtimes and there is no alert to us) Do we have iControl script or any script command to get route list from F5 ? I only know tmsh command to get dynamic route. So there will be alert to us when routing have a problem. Thank you
Referral ID causing illegal file type errors
Hi Guys, Our marketing team is paired with some partners that require things such as &id=xyz.abc in the url. These values are unique and never. eg, for another referral, it may be &id=qaz.wsx. The issue here is that since these IDs are passed in the URL, they are blocked due to being identified as an illegal file type. I there some way to allow these that is supported in the GUI? I have been using an iRule that will unblock once blocked however that is not ideal as it has some limitations. The business is prepared to use the unblocking iRule due to it's limitations. Hi Guys, One of our applications dynamically passes text from an text box to the URL as the user types resulting in lots of illegal file type events. The text box allows users to enter an email address and as the user types, the app posts the data that is provided to check if the email is valid and if the email is already in use. I have tried to create a wildcard allows url eg. /api/email/* expecting that this path would then be excluded from the ASM policy rules however even with this exclusion in place the ilelgal file types rule is still triggered for every character typed. For the moment I have set a wildcard file type which will allow any file type to be requested which is not ideal however it provides usability. Any advice on rectifying this would be great. Thank you.
