disk full error

How can i correct,the log disk usage higher than 80% after logrorate and 24 times log deletion. I installed a virtual server, and have been getting that error since then. I see a folder .config/tmp under the root directory, which has a lot of sub-folders with bigip config files . This results in a filling up the root directory and results in a disk full error when trying to save any changes (either using gui or cli).
