How to create a dynamic service group on F5 BIG-IQ
Hi all, i'm trying to figure out how to create a dynamic device group under Devices > BIG-IP Clusters > Device Groups. More precisely, I want to figure out the syntax of the field Search Filter. I can type in search terms and the search list gets updated, so far, so good. But I would like do do more advances queries, like Version <= 15.1.5.1 and Device Name starts with 'abc'. In an older version of the BIG-IQ it seems that queries could be written in the Open Data Protocol format, but this may no longer to be the case (I use version 8.1). Does anybody know an information source (link) about the search filter syntax or can provide me some examples? Thanks, Thomas
Clustering among VCMPs and Tenants ( rSeries )
Hello guys, we are approaching a migration from a vCMP cluster to a Tenant ( on r5600 ) cluster . VLAN/Networks betweeen old and new nodes will be the same and the migration will be VIPs based ( not every vs at once ). I was wondering if it is possible to add Tenant nodes to the already vCMP device group so that we can continue to have a synced configuration during the migration . Has anyone ever configured a mixed device group with vCMPs and Tenants running on r-series ? thank you in advance
