How to sync the config in CLI when we have multiple traffic-group ( Active-Active)
Hi Experts !!! How to sync the config via cli in Active-Active setup . Example : We have 2 f5 named BIGIP-A and BIGIP-B and 2 traffic-group-1 is active in BIGIP-A and traffic-group-2 is Active in BIGIP-2 . On BIGIP-A I configure a VIP which is Active in traffic-group-2 , in this case how do I sync the config in CLI . I need CLI command to sync the config when the F5 HA status are in Acive-Active setup .
GTM and cluster
Hi, I wonder what is relation between DSC and GTM Sync Group. Let's assume that I have cluster of two BIG-IP both with LTM and GTM. Then I create DSC cluster (Active-Passive or Active-Active). How it relates to GTM? I assume that Sync Failover will sync DNS Listeners objects used by GTM but not GTM config - Am I right. If so, then how to configure sync group when GTM runs on devices in DSC? Should I add second device as BIG-IP type server object or not? Assuming that all Server object are only referencing Generic Host type off objects is adding other BIG-IP in Sync Group at all necessary? What if I need separate DNS Listener IP that is active on both devices - will creating two Traffic Groups work? So I will have one listener assigned to traffic-group-1 that is by default active on DeviceA and second listener assigned to traffic-group-2 active by default to DeviceB - will it work. Will both listeners serve same Wide IPs and Sync Group will synchronize all GSLB settings between two devices? Piotr
Active-Active LTM Snat
Hi community! I've got an active-active configuration on 10.2.4 and i've configured SNAT for one VS. The issue is that when the appliance1 go down (and the SNAT is configured for his UnitID), the appliance2 take the VS but not the SNAT and process the traffic without the SNAT. Can anyone know why? In active-active BIG IP 2000 configuration, i am unable to configure the same Virtual Server to both Traffic Groups( Traffic group-1 and Traffic Group-2 are pointing to same application) . do F5 BIGIP 2000 support this ? Since from few documents from F5 says that active-active is used to support different application . how do we support the same Application Traffic? our actual requirement is, we have Application running on two Solaris servers, and we need active-active LB configuration to route traffic evenly to both servers from both LBs, using single VIP.
