12.1.2
4 TopicsStandby shows as offline in HA pair in version 12.1.2
Hello all, I know this topic has been discussed before but for older code versions and none of the solutions worked for me and I tried pretty much all of them. I have 2 3900 series boxes in HA pair. Network failover, port lockdown set to "allow all", boxes directly connected in HA vlan, no device in between. Upgraded from 12.0.0 to 12.1.2 and in the "Overview" page on the active box it shows the standby peer as "offline". If I failover to the other box it will again show the standby peer as "offline" from the new active box. Everything looks fine from the standby box "Overview". Both failover group and trust group show full sync, HA status on both boxes shows "in sync", no issues there. I tried multiple failovers, reboots from CLI, power cycles, changing port lockdown, even tried the process of forcing the configuration reload to no avail, still the same. Does anybody experience the same behaviour? I suspect this is a bug in the 12.1.2 code version.618Views0likes5Commentsactive/stanby cluster disconnected after Update
I have two new F5 BIG IPs with 12.1.2 HF2 installed, these two devices are running active/standby (same device trust configuration like the old ones with 11.6.2 HF1). While Upgrading from 12.1.2 to 12.1.3.1 (or directly to 13.0.0 or 13.1.0) my Cluster ist disconnected, because of different Software Version. Does any one have the same issue? Any suggestions?434Views0likes2CommentsVE F5 not passing tagged vlan traffic across Vxrail ESXI
Hi Guys, Been working on this and cannot come to a conclusion, our VE F5 which sits in an esxi enclosure, does not work when tagged vlan is configured (this is the way, rest of the other VE F5s are configured across the estate). However If we untag 1 vlan (and only allows you to untag 1 vlan on the VE) This works for the backend server and traffic passes as we can now see the pool members up, however the front end sits on another vlan and we cannot untag. The only difference is the other f5s sit on a 'UCS' or HP chassis and the problematic one sits on the 'vxrail'. my f5 version is 12.1.2 HF2 And the ESXI is version 6.0. Many thanks if someone can give me a descent answer, i have read most of the forums and nothing helpful.546Views0likes3CommentsAccess Profile not updating as expected
Have 12.1.2 with some engineering fixes for HTTP/2 and security, on lab and on 3600 in active/standby pair. Deploying updated Access Profile last night and this morning (to DR), after applying the new profile to the relevant virtual servers the old profile is seen on the virtual servers. On the HA pair I failed over to standby, saw same issue, failed back, and this seemed to clear the issue (when it also cleared some existing sessions). On the virtual F5 switching to "Offline", and back to "Online" cleared the issue. Looks like some sort of APM bug, but it was difficult to characterize other than import AP, modify AP for local instance, apply to VS, get old AP. Didn't see anything obvious in the logs, other than it would log me out after login to the protected virtual servers saying that I was using the old profile, when I should be using the new profile. I am using multi-domain here.154Views0likes2Comments
