Hi all,
I will migrate my F5 LTM / WAF from hardware to VE. (v15).
I have a rough high level plan, but not something Ive done before.
My plan is to create all the networking, VLANs etc. on the VE, and then import the UCS file from the old device.
Are there any potential gotchas with this type of migration, or better ways of approaching things?
Also, is there a simple way to export all network settings from old to new, to avoid manual creation?
Im aware of the below migration tool, but not sure Ill have time to master it before I need to undertake this (tomorrow).

Better check UCS platform migrate option:

Another way is to import the needed config with the merge option for file or terminal output:

Also the F5 WAF policies can just be exported and imported:
