Microsoft released Windows 8.1 as a required upgrade for Windows 8 PCs in November 2013. At the same time, Microsoft announced that existing users of Windows 8 had 24 months to upgrade to Windows 8.1 to remain in support. Now that the 24 month upgrade window has passed, the F5 BIG-IP APM Client Development team are ceasing testing and will cease support of Windows 8 as of March 1, 2016. F5 Support will also cease supporting Windows 8 at this time. This includes all features currently supported on Windows 8, as stated in the F5 APM Client Compatibility Matrices. Windows 8.1 remains fully supported.
