Users must be signed into their DevCentral account in order to be able to ask or answer a question, leave a comment on an article, or give a kudo to another member. This article will show you how to create a new user account, and how to then update your profile in order to customize logged-in site experience. 

How to create your new DevCentral account

Click on the user icon:

That will take you to the log-in page. Click on “Sign up”

Clicking on “Sign up” will take you to registration page:

Once you’ve filled this out and clicked the "Create and continue" button, you will be taken to a confirmation page

You must click the link in the confirmation email within 7 days in order to activate your new account. Doing so will bring you back to the site, where you will choose your unique username and agree to the Terms of Service:

Once you've created your account, you can update your DevCentral user profile in order to customize your user experience.
