Unable to login to F5 support site

From the last few days, we are facing sign in issue on F5 support site. When we click on sign in button it throws error “Something went wrong”. Anyone else facing this issue? We tried clearing browser cache, cookies and history for all time without any success. And same issue on all major browsers like chrome, edge and firefox.

Screenshot attached.

Hi,

Instead of:

Please try:

It is same error even if I go via https://my.f5.com. On this page https://my.f5.com after clicking ‘Sign in’ it redirects me to https://account.f5.com/myf5 and error outs “Something went wrong”.

Hello @ashu2280

I checked for any known issues and none are currently reported. If you could please Contact our F5 Support team via phone they will be able to assist in getting this resolved.

Thank you,

Melissa

I’m seeing the same issue.   Doesn’t work even from my phone…

I’ve contacted our account team, but will call support when I have a chance

Thank you for sharing that you are having this issue and reporting to your account team. If you aren’t able to get in contact with support you can send me a direct message with the email you use for your <a href://my.f5.com>MyF5</a> account and I can get it reported.

Melissa

@Melissa_C it is still an issue and I sent you a PM. Thanks!

I have a ticket open.  I got logged in once after clearing my cache/cookies this morning, but after logging out, now getting blocked again.   Feels like some bot defense or something it triggering on me…

@Stephen_Winter Thank you for the update. I found your ticket, while you will still want to maintain communication with support on it, I’ll make sure to keep on eye on that as well.

For me when it works it works fine for the whole day. But the day it doesn’t work, it just doesn’t work at all. Doesn’t matter if i clear cache, cookies, history or reboot my machine.

I am having the same issue. I was just asked by my sales rep to upload a couple qkviews to assess throughput for virtual F5 and get the very same screen reported above. Nothing I seem to do makes this work. I’d open a ticket, but that is in the same section of the website that I cannot reach, is it not?

I got a response from my ticket a little bit ago..

Hello Stephen,

Just an email to update you on the latest from our IT department.  The authentication portal for <a href://my.f5.com>MyF5</a> is currently experiencing an intermittent service issue affecting user sign-in, just as you reported.  They say that some users are able to log in by using a different browser or clearing their cache and cookies.  I know you have tried both methods with limited success.

The IT Team is continuing to work the issue, and I will continue to update you with their latest findings.

Best Regards,

@Dave_Gianetti Can you please send me a direct message with the email address that you use to log in on <a href://my.f5.com>MyF5</a>/ihealth. I will include you in the ticket that I have open with the team working to resolve this. Thank you for letting us know.

Hello,

I am facing the exact same issue!

I get the same “Something went wrong” error message on both the Education portal and DevCentral, and it happens only when using a desktop.

A few additional details on my end:

Desktop issue: Clearing cache, cookies, and history on Chrome, Edge, or Firefox doesn’t change anything either.

Smartphone workaround: Signing in works from a smartphone. The second step prompts for biometric validation (fingerprint, facial recognition, or pattern), which feels a bit strange since I don’t have any F5 application installed on my phone.

No MFA management: Once logged in on mobile, under my profile, there are no security options available to manage or reset two-factor authentication.

It’s quite frustrating as I have 10 TUs to prepare for my certification, leaving no choice but to try following the courses on a mobile screen or wait for a fix before they expire.

I suspect this issue is linked to the ongoing migration to the new secure platform (as mentioned in article K000162308 - (F5 identity provider migration targets).
